Pecan Crescent Cookies
These cookies could not be easier
Ingredients
1 stick butter, softened
Pinch salt
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract or paste
1 cup flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Directions
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Cream the butter and add the sugar, salt and vanilla. Stir in flour and pecans. You may even want to get your hands dirty to get this blended evenly.
Shape small pieces of dough into crescents and place on parchment lined sheets. Bake 30 mins. Once cooled, roll in more powdered sugar or just sprinkle them.
You can alternately use walnuts.
