Swiss Chard
No need to throw away those gorgeous rainbow stems. Just clean them, remove the leaves from the stems and saute first.
Ingredients
1 bunch rainbow or regular chard
1/2 red onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
zest of 1/2 lemon
salt and pepper
Directions
Removes the leaves from the stems and wash both thoroughly. Pat dry. Chop the stems finely, the same size as the onion. Saute the onions, chard and garlic in a pan over medium heat for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and lemon zest.
